National Educational Computing Conference July 2008: BrainBox are proud to announce that our developers, ElearningForce, recently attended the NECC event to showcase SharePointLMS. Great success was achieved in generating many new sales leads. ElearningForce have established a good relationship with the Microsoft US Education department and have agreed for further plans and strategy promoting SharePointLMS on US market and other countries. Microsoft kindly invited ElearningForce representatives to their Worldwide Partner Conference in October 2008. Many corporate customers like Sony and Siemens were interested in our product. National Network of Digital Schools has signed a contract with ElearningForce for system implementation for their internal needs. More than 17,600 educators and exhibit personnel attended the 29th Annual National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), held in San Antonio, 29 June through 2 July 2008, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Convene, Connect, Transform, presented by the International Society for Technology in Education in cooperation with the Texas Computer Education Association, was attended by teachers, teacher educators, technology coordinators, library media specialists, administrators, policy makers, industry representatives, and exhibitors from around the globe. Conference highlights included: The largest educational technology event in the nation, spanning five and a half football fields, featured 1,340 booths and 479 companies displaying hardware, software, educational and technical publishing, and equipment/services emphasising the use of technology by students and education professionals. 12,654 registered attendees 5,037 exhibit personnel 924 conference sessions and events with dozens of additional showcases, galleries, and poster sessions 577 international attendees from approximately 57 nations 115 workshops with more than 2,975 tickets sold 88 registered journalists from around the globe attended NECC, plus hundreds of dedicated bloggers |
